Drawing Bell’s portrait “Half-and-Half”

Children learn about the concept of whole-half, which belongs to the Realism art movement.

Photographs of inventors Bell, Morse, and Marconi are cut in half and are creatively combined with art supplies, creating works that develop observation in order to complete the other half of the work.

  • 1 writing pencil
  • 1 eraser
  • Colored pencils
  • Markers
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 1 white cardboard
  • 1 glue stick
