The Museum of Telecommunications is celebrating World Telecommunication Day (17/5) & International Museum Day (18/5) with actions inside and outside the Museum! The message for the International Museum Day 2022 is  "The Power of Museums "

Book your place here, and on Sunday 22 May come to the outdoor art workshop in the Museum’s courtyard in Nea Kifissia to make telephones and satellites from pine needles.  Book a place here and join us on the same day for the group tour of the permanent exhibition of the Museum, and discover the history of telecommunications from ancient Greece to the modern digital world!

The OTE Mixed Choir of Athens  will be with us at the Museum to take us on a journey through the world of music creation. 

Book a place here on International Museum Day,Wednesday 18 May, for a group tour of the exhibition spaces, which will take place from 18.00-19.00.

But the Museum’s events don’t stop there! 

We will visit the ‘SOS Children’s Villages’/Learning and Education Centers of Athens and the Elefsina Love Center, to create ‘the Museum in our suitcase’ with recycled materials, we will connect via the internet to the Nea Thalpi Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Unit and remember the most important events of the 20th century through the Museum’s rare collection of Telephotographs.
