The Telecommunications Museum offers a virtual tour of modern Greek history and the history of telecommunications through its collection of more than 20,000 telephotographs and photographs.
The archive of telephotographs consists of 13,500 telephotographs taken or sent to newspapers via the OTE's telephotography service, depicting various aspects of the country's political, social, sporting and cultural life during the period 1950-1990.
In addition, a collection of 7,000 photographs relating to OTE and its forerunners, A.E.T.E. and T.T.T. , narrate the story of the company and of telecommunications in the country from the end of the 19th century to the present day.
All the telephotographs are documented and digitized, while those interested can also access the collections through SearchCulture.gr - the national digital repository of cultural heritage and contemporary artistic creation - and Europeana - a digital platform that includes over 50 million cultural heritage items from institutions across Europe.
