These are telegrams that were sent by or to political figures, MPs and ministers, mainly during the <b>1950s-1970s.<\/b> Most of them are <b>messages offering congratulations or best wishes<\/b> traditionally exchanged via telegraph for greater formality.  Recipients and senders include <b>Nikolaos Plastiras<\/b>, <b>Alexandros Papagos, Georgios Papandreou, Konstantinos Karamanlis, Panagiotis Kanellopoulos, Sophocles Venizelos, Philippos Mavros, as well as kings Paul and Constantine II<\/b>. Of particular interest are the telegrams sent by various political figures or associations from all over Greece to the mayor of Rhodes on the occasion of the Union of the Dodecanese with Greece in 1947.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
