The Museum travelled ONLINE <\/strong>this year, from Soufli to Gavdos & from Kastelorizo to Mathraki in the Diapontia islands<\/strong>, with two art workshops: The Museum in our Suitcase<\/strong> & Musical instruments made from recyclable materials<\/strong>, for all pupils of primary school<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We \u2018visited\u2019 50 remote primary schools <\/strong>in Greece. 103 classes <\/strong>participated in the workshops and we met 1,928<\/strong> children and 126<\/strong> teachers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students from one- and two-teacher schools<\/strong> connected digitally with their peers to become a large creative group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A unique communication experience! <\/strong>We introduced ourselves, took a digital \u2018walk\u2019 together at the Museum<\/strong> and heard about the history of communication, from the Phryctoriae of Troy to the launch of satellites & fiber optics<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by visual artist Alexis Akrithakis<\/strong> and the red payphone in our collection, we made an \u2018artistic\u2019 suitcase of recyclable materials to travel around the world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
