The Telecommunications Museum, like all museums in the country, has suspended its scheduled educational programs, guided tours, and all visits.
Digital communication never stops, in fact, in a telecommunications museum. Thus, it will remain "open" through its site, proposing different activities each week for different ages of children that can be done at home.
Actions inspired by telecommunications / Do it at home
Actions for the whole family and for ages from 4 to 12 years, based on the exhibits and collections of the museum, with content that will be renewed. With instructions but also with small videos, time will probably pass quickly, pleasantly and revealingly!
Indicatively, some actions will include constructions “Make a 3d telephone device from recyclable materials”, as well as for younger children “print and paint your own phone” but for the whole family to make a memory game with cards, easily and quickly”.
Stay tuned as other activities come as a surprise!
Augmented Reality: with the power of technology
Until today, visitors to the Museum, have had the opportunity, through digital applications ( AR, VR ), either from the Museum's tablets or from their mobile phone, to make a unique interactive journey from antiquity to the modern digital world! Now you can make this journey without having to travel. With a simple click on the Museum's site, get to know up close, the great inventors of telecommunications and their discoveries, the cable ship "Thalis the Milesian", the analog telephone exchanges and the first telephone booths.
We stay home… but also "go to the Museum” #StayConnected, #staycurious
