A message travels

How did a message travel before the era of smartphones? And what obstacles did it encounter along the way?

Through an interactive theatrical performance with animated objects, children follow the adventure of a message trying to reach its destination — from carrier pigeons and Morse code to landline and mobile phones. Old devices, keyboards, dials, cables, and sounds take center stage in a creative narrative about the evolution of communication and telecommunications technology. Afterwards, children participate in an art workshop: using recycled materials, they create two-dimensional collages of the “telephones of the future”!
