Athens Choir

The OTE’s Athens Mixed Choir has been traveling in the world of music for over 50 years and fills its luggage with experiences, awards, and distinctions.

Since 1968, the supporter and inspirer of the Choir was Alexandros Papagiannopoulos, then an employee of OTE, who with devotion and love led the choir to a very successful course. In 2012, the choir was conducted by conductor Dimitris Bouzanis, the inspirer of imchor, a pioneering band that bridges distances and actively engages audiences with choir and music.

The choir consists of 37 choirs, men and women and includes four types of voice: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass.

In its long course, it has managed to identify with extremely high levels of performance that make it one of the leading amateur choirs in Greece. He has performed hundreds of concerts throughout Greece and has received important awards in international choir competitions, both in Greece and abroad.
