What does a reporter do? How do they “discover” a news story? And how do they turn it into an exciting report?
In this interactive workshop, students take on the role of reporters! Starting with photographs from the Museum’s collection, they research, observe, imagine, ask questions, and take notes. They learn the secrets of journalistic writing and create their own report! At the end, they organize their own “news bulletin“: they divide up roles—presenter, cameraman, director, costume designer—and present the news they have discovered with imagination, cooperation, and a great deal of enthusiasm for communication!
