Bidding farewell to Mikis Theodorakis with a photo from our archive

Several photographs of the great composer depicting his artistic, turbulent, socially and politically active life are kept in the OTE Group Telecommunications Museum archive. There are photographs showing him in exile at Oropos, in Paris, giving interviews against the junta, being applauded by thousands of Greeks on his return after the dictatorship, conducting concerts.

We chose a photo depicting Mikis Theodorakis participating in a march on the streets of Athens, in September 1982 (photo: Grigoris Xanthos, 21 September 1982).
