The series consists of 162 photographs, covering the period from 1949 to 1988. The photographs mainly depict famous figures of the arts and letters, mainly actors, singers, and poets (Katina Paxinou, Maria Callas, Manos Katrakis. Elli Lambeti, etc.).

The photographs that stand out relate to the Nobel Prize or other awards (Academy of Athens, Onassis Foundation) being bestowed upon the poets Seferis, Elytis, and Ritsos. There are several more telephotographs that concern the funerals of famous people of the arts, such as Tsitsanis, Papaioannou, Fotopoulos, Karolos Koun, Dimitris Psathas, and Xylouris, while there is an impressive absence, with few exceptions, of photographs from the Greek film festivals in Thessaloniki and the song festival in Kerkyra. There are also a few shots from concerts of the time, such as those by Mikis Theodorakis, Dionysis Savvopoulos, and Mariza Koch. Lastly, there are also some photographs from archaeological excavations/finds, the main one being the royal tomb at Vergina by professor Manolis Andronikos. In general, one draws the conclusion that the material in this category does not correspond to the rich cultural production of Greece from the 1950s to the 1980s.
