“Thalis of Miletus” was a small steam cable ship, constructed in America in 1909 and given to Greece in 1947. It was used for 40 years by OTE for laying and repairing submarine cables, with the purpose of expanding and restoring the telecommunications network of the Aegean.
Today, it can be found at the Paleo Faliro marina, at the Trocadero, open for visitors as a floating museum.
