European Heritage Days, 24-25 September 2022

From 24 to 25 September 2022, the Ministry of Culture and Sports is celebrating the 26th annual European Heritage Days.

This year, the common European theme of the European Heritage Days 2022 celebration is ‘Sustainable Heritage - Preserving the past for future generations’.

This year’s theme, bearing in mind the impact of climate change and environmental burden, has two axes:

  • protection of tangible and intangible cultural heritage
  • adoption of practices and use of sustainable resources and materials that reduce environmental footprint.

Sustainable development has been at the core of OTE Group’s strategy for over a decade. ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) criteria have been incorporated into its operations, focusing on 3 pillars:

  • Development of an equal digital world for all
  • Responding to climate change and protecting the environment
  • Creating a prosperous world in which everyone participates equally

In this context, the OTE Group Telecommunications Museum is opening its doors to the public on Saturday and Sunday, 24 and 25 September, from 11.00 to 16.00.
The public can tour the Museum’s Permanent Exhibition and take a guided tour from 14.00 to 15.00.

Stay tuned to the Museum’s Instagram account – @otegroupmuseum – for related posts!
