On a special DJ set at the Museum’s amphitheatre, come and create a musical piece inspired by the sounds of telecommunication installations such as the electric telegraph, the telephone and telephone exchanges.
To celebrate the great inventors Alexander Graham Bell and William Marconi, learn how sound was passed through cable for the first time and then transmitted wirelessly, transcending long distances and transmitting messages all over the Earth!
And ... don’t forget to bring your 2 favourite songs (in mp3 format) on a memory stick so you can mix them!
Participation in the programme is free.
