50 young people, 18 - 25 years old from Europe, on a 6-day educational trip to Greece organized by the Hellenic Migration Policy Institute, chose our Museum as the digital station of their visit. Wanting to learn and deepen their understanding of the power of technology and innovation and at the same time learn about the history of communication and Telecommunications, they were with us to tour the exhibition spaces, but also to learn about Satellite Telecommunications and its contribution to digital inclusion. Through an interactive presentation entitled "Active Citizens in Europe, Globally connected, locally engaged" by Ms. Eleni Steri (Satellite and Maritime Services Development Department, Cosmote), they were mentally transported to Nemea and Thermopylae to "see" the Satellite Stations and the optical telescopes of OTE. Among other things, they saw and heard about how OTE Group has been achieving over the years, through Satellite Telecommunications technology, connectivity and inclusion of everyone and everywhere, in order to become active citizens.
The combination of the in situ presentation in an interactive space, where telecommunications technology is in front of the visitor, extended their stay in the Museum's courtyard, where they conveyed their pleasant impressions!
With their imminent return, our company's reputation travels to 10 countries in Europe!
