A Signal’s Journey

Where does a telecommunications signal go as soon as we press “call”? Can we follow it step by step, just like in a game?

In this interactive STEM workshop, children become little communications engineers and discover how information travels across the globe. On a specially designed interactive track, they explore communication networks and learn about the different technologies that carry signals: cables, fiber optics, antennas, and satellites. Through an exciting relay race game, they collaborate, experiment, and—by driving robotic vehicles—recreate, step by step, the path that information takes, from a cell phone all the way to… space!
