Love Stories

How can an emotion change the course of communication? And what love stories lie behind the inventions of telecommunications?

In honor of Valentine’s Day, the children will explore the permanent exhibition and, through the personal stories of Alexander Graham Bell and Samuel Morse, discover how love and the need for communication inspired two great inventions: the telegraph and the telephone.
Next, in the educational classroom, the children will transform fans into colorful creations by printing heart-shaped designs and drawing their own personal message of love!
