If you didn't have time in February to participate in the ‘Be a DJ at the Museum!’ action, don’t worry ... Prepare your 2 favourite tracks on a USB stick, make your booking online here and come the Museum’s decks on Sunday, 20 March.
Popular DJ Kostis Nikiforakis and his team – on a special DJ SET installed at the Museum’s permanent exhibit – are waiting to take you on a journey from Jamaica in the Caribbean to Great Britain, introducing you to the evolution of DJ culture through stack systems & block parties, the famous parties in the neighbourhoods of Great Britain and New York.
When you’ve seen and heard – through a short stroll through the Museum – how music and communication are connected, you’ll take your first steps as a DJ, under the guidance of Kostis Nikiforakis, mixing your two favourite tracks with the transition fade in fade out technique.
Don’t miss it!
